This is a strange illustration because I did the background first and only then I thought about what kind of scene I wanted to show... Then it came to my mind this couple. She is an alien ( or maybe a lost-goddess but certainly not from this world... ) and he is a lonely business man. Although they are very different they just fallen in love with each other. Here they are together looking at the moon, perhaps for the first time for both.
While I was doing some sketches I just remembered Manet's "Le déjeuner sur l'herbe". That's why the young lady is naked and he is not.
