Coffee Break

It's been a while since my last post...! But since I'm not dead (just busy with a overflow of work), here is a new illustration: "Coffee Break". I hope you guys like it!

This is a busy big city but that guy in the window just found a couple of minutes to enjoy some music and forget his problems at work.

I had this scene in my mind for a while and I'm very happy that I'm done with it. The creation of each driver and the sitar player was really a blast.

After modeling a dummy model in 3ds Max (to help me get that camera angle) I used Corel Draw and Photoshop to create this image.

Thanks for the comments! About the gadgets: They are two-legged vehicles that walk spining the legs over a circular trail around the cockpit. I call them "rotocars". I decided to use them instead of normal cars because I wanted to set this image in a alternative future/reality and also because they vaguely resemble musical notes (which goes well with the sitar).
