Hello. I’m new to SFG! First confession: I did not go to artschool. Second confession: I am not a professional illustrator. However, I love drawing and I have been asked to illustrate some projects in the past. I currently work in the film industry in Hungary, working as an assistant director and doing storyboards. I am also learning some animation in my free time and working on getting some projects started with a great animation director. I am actually a bit intimidated by joining such a talented group of illustrators, but I finally decided to give it a shot anyway. So, thank you for inviting me, Jeff!

Welcome Nadja. You have a cool name. This is a fun looking cartoon. I don't think you have anything to be intimidated about.
No need to be intimidated. I did not go to art school, either. Neither did a lot of people in this blog. Being a "professional" illustrator just means you made some dollars. Your ability to read something and create an image is what makes you an illustrator. You have a cool, whimsical style!
