This last saturday I did a sketchcrawl and the met and walked around manhattan in the rain with some friends.
I think most of the drawings i did were sorta crumby but, this one (that I did will having a beer and drying off my jacket) I liked.... so....i tossed a little photoshop action on it and really like some of the colors that I came up with...
Normally my colors aren't so great....I was surprised...

thanks jim.....I am a fan of your stuff. In fact I am about to go peek at your blog. Right now.
Mike...Glad you like it, I doodled the image on a plane sheet of white sketchbook paper with my trusty uniball vision pen, and then all the coloring and texture was applied in photoshop. took about 30 minutes because I was fiddling with it.
