I have to agree with Paula... the background being a little flat like a background makes the characters pop out more and give tehm a retro feel...nice job!

thanks everyone. The way I am trying to do the backgrounds is based on 1950's TV commercial animation. I am glad it comes across.
These are great. The milk carton with his little bow tie is cool. They are all cool. I too love the retro feel and flat backgrounds.
