Hello everyone . . . just signed up. Thanks loads for having me! I'm an graphic designer with a passion for illustration. I'm currently a full time designer trying to move the illustrations from hobby to serious work.

I recently joined SFG as well. I enjoyed looking at your work and site. Your posting was interesting because I am also a designer & illustrator and understand how it can be a challenge to bridge "both worlds" into a happy, little creative outlet. Sometimes though, one actually compliments the other and I see that in the illustration of the monkeys at the bar. The use of color, patterns and boldness of the stark, white monkeys, lends itself to a really interesting graphic illustration.
