I tried something new this week. The fish are painted on illustration board in gouache. I then cut them out with an x-acto knife and glued them onto a board covered in cotton. It has a nice 3-D effect that is a welcome change from my usual work. Sometimes I feel the need to get crafty!

Weehaw! It is nice to break old habits and think "out-of-the-box" sometimes. Those fish are fun :D
