This little feller doubles as my entry for Illustration Friday's theme of portrait, as well as my submission for an upcoming texture-themed reference book/DVD authored by fellow SFG-mate Von Glitschka. 100 per cent digital, it began with a photo of my plush penguin toy - then using my Von-assigned texture file I created this rough and worn portrait, frame and metal title plate.
