happy 2007!

I'd really like to be able to use technical pens over colored pencil, but I find that the waxiness of the pencil destroys my pen tip very quickly. Does anyone know of a way to get around this, maybe a brand of pencil that's not as waxy? (I use Prismacolor.)

Perhaps I should try using watercolor pencils...

    There are some pencils out there that are a lot more chalky... the name escapes me now but I'm sure you would work magic with them!!
