New Guy

Hi all i'm new here. My name is Jason Raish I went to school at at SUNY Albany for 2 years for fine arts, 1 year at Yonsei University in South Korea, and 4 years at F.I.T. in NYC. I graduated a year ago, have been hustling hard and have been getting a decent amount of freelance work since then. Mostly editorial magazine and newspaper stuff, a few advertising jobs here and there. I just moved to Harlem to 136th and broadway home of firecrackers, open fire hydrants, chicken bones, garbage and all that good stuff. Somehow I like it though, definitely very different from Astoria, Queens and I can definitely find some inspiration here, especially with my great rooftop view! I work in mixed media i suppose. I spend a while making a good pencil drawing and sometimes painted/sponged/etc... textures and scan them in and color everything with photoshop.
