I love Mexican and South American culture. The colors and patterns blow me away. I had an old desk from my mother's childhood that was falling apart and so before throwing it out, I took apart the drawers and put them in my "gotta paint on that" someday pile. It's been over a year and this skull guy seemed perfect for the distressed wood drawer.

ReplyDeleteThanks Jason. I usually work mostly digital. This is acrylic and a little pencil on an old desk drawer. Working without the computer forced me to work different and I had a lot of fun with it. More to come. It was my mother's desk when she was little and it was falling apart. I didn't have the heart to throw the whole thing out so I took apart the drawers and saved them to paint on.
