Hey all you SFGers! I have missed you!
Here is a nice representation of UP.
The painting depicts an actual moment in history from WWII. The B-17 Flying Fortress was the work horse of the air war over Europe. In this particular scene, the Shack Rabbit III and her crew are attacked due their vulnerability. While flying a mission to bomb a factory, the number 4 engine supercharger went out. There was a weather fornt with clouds reaching 40,000 feet that the crippled bomber couldn't make. Thay had to turn back toward Snerterton, England. While over Belgium, they encountered Pips Prillar and his Wulfpack of FW-190s. The Shack Rabbit met her fate October, 1943. All the crew with the exception of the co-pilot and the tail gunner survived.

I´m impressed!
The rendering on the planes is really wonderful...
I personally wish some of the Background clouds felt a little softer. But, personal pref aside.
I really dig the image overall.
