A birdie doodle that I refined and submitted for Illustration Friday's spring theme. Last night I added a quick bit of colour to it, which can be seen here along with the sketch's full backstory. But you folks at SFG! get to see it the way I think I prefer it: bare-bones black-and-white.
And I can't decide whether he's singing his heart out or yowling in pain from a bad crotch-landing.
