I was tearing old carpet out of the upstairs hallway this past weekend, and discovered a small trap door. I opened it and it contained various items from one of the children who lived in this house in the 1960's - 70's. Among the things was a school assignment, speech crib notes, valentine's cards and small toys. I decided to open Photoshop today and do some collaging. The objects were scanned and then I created the rest of the scene in Photoshop. The calendar was from July 1976, exactly 30 years ago.

Yes Holly, the calendar page really settled it, there was no doubt when the things were stashed away. In fact some of the things in there I either had myself or remember clasmates and friends having during the same period.
Jeff, the cool thing about this is that we live in a small rural community and some of the girl's friends are still living locally. I've heard many stories about the family who lived here (But I'm sure the walls and those who knew the family are still holding out on the juicy stuff)
