Daily drawing: Where was the hostel again?
I have always liked this building just down the street from work, and the half-dozen or so hand-painted “HOSTEL” signs in bright colours add a touch of charm. I’m often tempted by Finch’s on the corner, but those tables, while they probably seem just fine from inside, look like they’re part of a junior high school play. The people are always sitting in there framed by the window, on display—doesn’t seem particularly relaxing to me, being on stage for all to see. I mean, some nut could stand across the street and draw you perfectly if they wanted. And I don’t know about you, but to me that seems a little creepy…

Creepy indeed. Artists have some nerve. ;)
I like the color/non color thing. Nice lines.
