A recent job.

Hélix de Abril...Proceso!

Mucho podríamos hablar de diseño y técnicas y tendencias e ideas y cosas nuevas y software. Pero creo que una buena idea nace y llega a su culmen en tu cabeza en menos de 3 segundos. Así me paso con esta portada de Hélix(del mes de abril). PUM! E inmediatamente empecé a dibujar lo que creí que era la portada ideal, y sin duda así fue.
El proceso fue divertido y no se me gusto mucho el resultado final. Los dejo con este que es el proceso de boceto, digital e impreso final.

So here is the cover of Hélix. It just happend BANG…and it came to me the inspiration to do this cover imiately so i started to draw and the result was perfect. So i leave you with the design process.

The Double Bacon Genius Burger: Smithtape Vol. 2

A one night job for my man, emcee John Smith. The hand-lettered treatment is partially inspired by Haze's work on the Beasties' Check Your Head (those liner notes blew my mind back then). As I write this, Smitty is on tour with Co-op and Hunnicutt, and he should have these with him.
