My new autumn masthead

SFG prompted me to update my blog masthead, using some autumn leaves I painted in my scientific illustration days. I rarely have the time these days to paint in such detail.

Saturday Morning Cartoons

Okay, this doesn't exactly fit the weekly theme, but, if you consider the TV show "Lassie" mixed in with Saturday Morning Cartoons, then maybe I can stowaway on the cargo train with this one... This is one of my recent pet portraits, and the theme is "Lassie" inspired! 50's - 60's Lassie, a Wonder Dog if there ever was one. But THIS wonder dog's name is Buster the CowDog. Hope you enjoy!!

The Old West, hmm?

I come from a small town called Westonaria, which is on the West Rand, the area to the West of Johannesburg. I currently live on the East Rand. Do I still qualify...?
