Sakura Girl

This is my last illustration, made just for fun. It really took longer than my other illos because of the details, the hair, her ornaments, the flowers, etc. Sakura Girl will be available soon at my Zazzle store, printed on T-shirts, posters and more.

P for Pretty.... or Pink.

Thank you Jeff for the invite. This being my first post, here's a little bit about me.

Originally from Nottingham, but now living in London, I have been a full-time illustrator since September 2006 after graduating from University in Buckinghamshire, England.

My work has been described as retro-modern and has been influenced by mid-century illustrators and artists. I have recently completed work on an alphabet which I hope to get published as a book soon,

I hold my pen in a funny way, but it works just fine for me!

hello, i am the angry hedonist.

"my poor sister"

hello everyone!

"the accused"

i am "the angry hedonist" (i know, leftovers of my teenage angst! slightly embarrassing, but some things never change ^^) and i do illustrations of pre-defined "pretty" girls/women in various states of dimemberment, delusions, dilemmas and violence.

"my caged heart"

and i regret that sometimes cliches are unavoidable in my drawings.

theangryhedonist.com → here is my portfolio (i apologize in advance for all the creepy crawlies...)
theangryhedonist.com/blog → and here is my blog which you can subscribe to look out for more updates!

i'd love to meet some of you here... friends? :)

Two Parrots

Was working on this over the weekend and was really happy with how it turned out- submitting it for a group art show themed  around the color "Green"- planning on mounting it (ink/colored pencil on paper) on a wood panel and varnishing it (thinking of perhaps lightly staining the paper so it's not pristine white, but not 100% sure yet)
