The Flash Gordon series...

These are from drawings I did a year ago. Ming the Merciless, Flash Gordon and Dale Arden.

Encounter on the Plains of Camdeboo

The Plains of Camdeboo are an empty and desolate place... and travellers rarely encounter one another...

Spock Prime

Whether or not it's good, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen debuts this week... so to celebrate, I've given birth to a nerd's fantasy.

Hello there!

hi everybody, this is my first blurb here on SFG. I'm Andrea and I'm a graphic designer/illustrataor (or wannabe that) from Italy.

I dig everything about sci-fi movies, toys, comics, and other nerdy stuff.
I normally create my pieces starting starting from a sketch on paper, then I develop it using Illustrator.
I also love taking pictures and I'm a film-addicted photographer (even if I often use my digital relfex)
here are a couple of my works, hope you like them!

if you want to see more of my jobs, you can find me on flickr or visit my blog!

and if you want to write me an email, here is my address: andreatallone@gmail.com

hope to hear from you soon!

may the force be with you pals,

Andrea

The Doctor is In

I'm a huge fan of the newest version of Doctor Who, so I thought it would be cool to illustrate the newest doctor (along with my favorite of his companions, Freema Agyema) as the cover to a classic comic book.

Star Trek:The Mike Cressy Generation...

What can I say, I don't care for the obsession with some sci-fi in popular culture. I've always preferred things that weren't so well known. With that in mind created these characters as a reaction to that way to thinking. Not since I was a kid have I liked drawing someone else's creations. I'd rather create my own.

Renaissance Robot!

Sci Fi art is some of my favorite, especially retro. Funny I don't care to read Sci Fi anymore but the images can be very cool. I'll be posting some more Sci Fi art later today...

Asto Lounge Girls

It's been a while since I last posted... due to projects and the holiday madness... but I hope to get back into the swing of things.
I did these pieces for a design firm that wanted to give a series of cocktail coaster to past clients. One side had the retro pinup girls on one side and a drink recipe on the other. I ended up doing a series of five different girls... these were two of my faves. Really fun project!

Anyway, I hope everyone had a great holiday and has a great new year!

More 1950's Sci Fi stuff...

I did this for a game company about 6 or so years ago. There was to be some text showing in the middle widow to outer space.

1950's Sci Fi...

I love the old corny Sci Fi from the 50's and this is my tribute!
