Barkles 503 Page

This is a commissioned illustration I did for a new social networking company called Barkles. It's a place to share your opinions and get rewarded. The site is launching soon and this illustration is for their 503 error page. It's the page that tells the user that the web site's server is simply not available at the moment. This is usually due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server. So their idea was to have their mascot tearing the page to expose the server.

Last 2010 sketches

I did these at 4pm on the 31st... then went to a NYE party!

New summer painting...

I usually don't paint much in the summer... I'd rather be outside bicycling or kayaking or wading in the pool or visiting beautiful landscaping, but I am still drawing a lot. I've finished off the 6th volume of art for my graphic novel and started the 7th, which I hope will be the last volume of art for it. We'll see how it goes.
I'll post some of those drawings soon.

It's been along time since I last posted... please forgive me.

This is a drawing I did for a local ad agency. Every year they host a fund-raising fun-run during the Halloween season called the Scream Scram. The catch: the run is at night and they encourage everyone to dress in costumes and bring their dogs to participate!

They like to have a mascot drawing to go on entry forms, outdoor advertising (he was on a billboard!) and souvenir t-shirts.

Anyway, his name is Rufus and the team at Scream Agency let me pretty much have free reign on what I wanted to do.
