I have seen illustrators using old books as sketchbooks. Just paint over the pages and let some print show through for texture. This is a way for me to loosen up and get off the computer. Just push paint and stuff around. I sucked my whole family into this and we had a big fun mess on Satruday. I banged out 4 pages and it freeing.
