Its October- SFG:Autumn

My new autumn masthead

SFG prompted me to update my blog masthead, using some autumn leaves I painted in my scientific illustration days. I rarely have the time these days to paint in such detail.

SFG: Autumn!

Finally finished! If you pop over here, you can see a horrifying photo of the desk from whence this painting sprang. I'm in pre-show mode, so everything's nuts.

    SFG: Autumn

    This week's theme: SFG: Autumn

Quite literally one of my favorite seasons, if not the favorite. This is the challenge SFG'ers, illustrate Autumn in all of its glory. No holding back now, let's see those great Fall colors!

Be sure to label your illustrations with the appropriate labels as well. Label your entries with your name and the challenge label, in this case SFG: Autumn.

The SFG Challenge runs Thursday to Thursday, and was created to offer every member an opportunity to stretch their creative muscles and post their interpretations on a specific theme.

Remember, this is a completely voluntary challenge designed solely to stimulate creativity and promote participation. Please don't hesitate to post your other work as normal.

A couple of not so subtle reminders-

The next challenge begins Thursday, October 11th, 2007.

    Have a great week SFG'ers!
