This is a poster I am working on right now. Trying to keep it to two colors in case I can afford to silk screen the poster ( hoping to not have to go to Kinkos).But this is a WIP, so comments and crits are welcome! Be gentle.
Gotcha! OK, well basically House of Blues is putting on a huge show out here in the PNW, the Gorge. Through the HoB an invite only to poster designers went out for this years line up. Lots of good bands. And LOTS of very talented designers putting up special edition posters for a band they select. I was able to get Matisyahu. It is a fun project, but double edged sword. The designer has to front the cash for printing the posters. OWCH.
So I am trying to figure out a way to pay for printing some silk screened posters. And I need to try to keep the cost down, so colors = money. If you have not heard of him, you can check out http://www.matismusic.com/ . I am hoping I am doing a good design that reflects the artists. I just hope I do not have to go to Kinkos. But since it is out of my pocket..hehe
